So interesting because I just read your story e hoa, then came here and read this and I felt like they had this beautiful synergy, almost as if they were speaking to each other. The properties of Kumarahou applied to our own lives, growing up and even thriving in the ashes. Incredible. I’m laughing because I am guiltily starting off my day on substack and I’m going to be so late to work but this is just the best and you’re making me want to go and write/publish something because I can... because the pressure to be perfect is less than the desire to just simply connect. To be in wānanga as writers in our separate corners, sending out scattered words to each other on the wind... what even is perfection... there is only connection
